Adobe has transformed its experimental Project Moonlight into a production-ready AI assistant that can orchestrate creative workflows across its entire Creative Cloud ecosystem. The newly launched Firefly AI Assistant will enter public beta within weeks, giving users the ability to direct complex creative projects through natural language commands while the system handles execution across Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, Illustrator, and other Adobe applications.
The assistant represents a significant evolution beyond simple AI image generation, functioning as an intelligent coordinator that can manage multi-step creative processes. Users can interrupt and guide the workflow at any point, while the system learns individual preferences and offers contextual recommendations tailored to specific projects.
